There are four criteria, which are:
(1)-Unique and rare natural phenomena, landforms, or regions that are endowed with rare natural beauty;
(2)-Typical examples that represent the evolution history of the earth in vital periods;
(3)-Typical examples that represent ongoing important ecologic process, biologic evolution, and mutual relations between man and nature;   
(4)-Places where surviving and endangered flora species grow.
